Sometimes falling in love with a character is about seeing yourself in a character, or what you could be, and drawing strength and inspiration from them.
And sometimes it’s like finding an angry opossum in a dumpster, eating your trash, and deciding it’s your baby.
Imagine you’re the captain of the Southern Raiders. The war has ended and a new Fire Lord has taken the crown. This new Fire Lord fought alongside the avatar and helped end the war, so you assume there’s going to be some changes. However, you are caught completely off guard when you’re suddenly demoted.
You write a letter, demanding to know why. Your record is spotless, you’ve never disobeyed an order…
Then you’re in for shock #2 when you recibe back a letter written personally by the Fire Lord that reads: “Remember the night two masked ninjas infiltrated your ship and interrogated you about the whereabouts of Yon Rha? I was one of them. You folded like a piece of paper.”
Call him a basic bitch.
There are 3 brands of character songs, any song you associate with a character will fit one or more of these categories:
1. The lyrics fit
2. The song just carries those Character Vibes, often times inexplicably, regardless of lyrics
3. You really liked that song at the same time you liked the character
These are the facts
4. Exactly one lyric in the entire song fits, but it fits so well you’re going to keep the song anyways
I’m tired. And I’m going to sleep so long, only a hapless fool with a 90s haircut can wake me by sarcastically reciting an ancient incantation on Halloween night.

Was playing around with colored pencil earlier on some scrap paper Drew my favorite minor oc, or two versions of her; Adult Yeet and younger invader-in-training Yeet.
Yeet never finished her training, despite being the most determined in her squadron. Not because of her height, however, which is pitifully short, even by adulthood.
She instead takes a job a tallest Purple’s advisor/hand servant/ his personal living therapy doll after Red’s death.
She deeply regrets her choice, but doesn’t have the heart to quit or complain aloud (even if the option was there). Not everyone can be what they want if the empire is to run/ expand, after all.
There’s more to her story, but I’ve rambled enough.
